The Daimler Group contains many brands in the automotive industry like Mercedes-Benz, Smart and SHARE NOW. These brands cover a variety of digital touchpoints. Therefore the application of user-centered design has major impact on the businesses. Daimler provides a platform for knowledge concerning user experience and design.
In an agile, human-centered process we at Strichpunkt restructured and redesigned the platform with focus on an improved and more engaging user experience. For that we utilized gamification, a simpler and more intuitive navigation structure as well as illustrations to present the content in an appealing and better consumable way.
In this project I was responsible for User Research regarding the existing platform as well as iterative user feedback on the newly developed prototypes in form of remote interviews. Additionally, I worked on structuring content and improving the overall information architecture.
In addition to the UX Guide, we developed an MVP for a tool to help identifying chances to increase UX-involvement in projects with clear instructions and tips. Here I was responsible for User Flows and the overall Interaction Concept.
The UX Guide and UX Maturity Tool are exclusively accessible for the Daimler Group and its vendors.
